Community Events

Rain of Hope's community events engages communities in our mission, expanding our ripple to more communities.  Through two signature events, Rain of Hope is bringing communities together.

 

Rain of Hope’s community events empowers community members to become active Rainmakers. From workshops to empower parents and caregivers to social events that include elements of community service, our community events help connect all of us – and reinforce that, together, we will positively impact our world!

Barnes & Noble Fundraiser

Come out and help support Rain of Hope through the Barnes & Noble Book Fair and Gift Wrapping fundraising event! Rain of Hope employees and volunteers will be at Barnes in Noble gift wrapping presents for the community and accepting donations. You can also help support us by mentioning our organization when you shop at Barnes & Noble or online between December 2nd-10th!

Thank you to Coachman Square at Woodbridge for welcoming Rain of Hope’s community and trick-or-treaters at last weekend’s  Halloween Party...and thank you to many community members who came out to share their Halloween with the senior citizen residents!

 

The event was a huge success, bringing generations together with over 40 trick-or-treaters receiving treats from more than 35 Coachman Square residents. 

Super Hero SMASH!
Amplified Ripples

Our Super Hero SMASH! celebrated real-life superheroes while engaging communities in the idea that each of us has the power to change the world.  

Our Amplified Ripples concert celebrated youth in our Lyrics 'n Music Matters program.  Communities rocked out to songs written by youth, making students feel like rock stars for a day.
